When Letting Go Is Having It All
This has been a year of letting go. Letting go of how I used to define myself and what success meant to me.In my workshops and keynotes I often share (and get many nods in agreement) how most of my professional life I had an ongoing checklist of things I had to accomplish in order to “be” successful. If you’re nodding in agreement as well,
Making An A Team: Cultivate An Inspiring Environment!
In today’s competitive job marketplace, it’s becoming more and more difficult to attract and keep top-quality candidates. Three Alternatives to Long Term Care Insurance
With so many companies leaving the long term care insurance market place, or raising premiums significantly, we are getting more and more questions about whether long term care insurance is really a smart purchase. You may have heard a government statistic quoted, probably by an insurance agent, stating something to the effect that 70% of people over 65 will need some form of long term care.
The Importance of Routine
In March, I wrote an article on the importance of a good morning routine and offered some suggestions on how to set yourself up for success by starting early. A Trivia Game and a Crack Pipe
It was a beautiful day on the beach and we planted ourselves under the pier to avoid the super hot sun. We’d be there for at least 4 hours as we accompanied my husband on one of his unique work outings. Today, a world record would be set for the number of scuba divers holding hands underwater. In that instant my shoulders tensed, I felt a lump in my tummy, and I saw my daughter’s nervous eyes.

The Watson family loves this pesto sauce! It is so easy to make and tastes great with cheese and crackers or on a main course. It’s also a great accompaniment to a charcuterie board. Easily made, it can be put together days ahead of time and it keeps in the freezer well. We especially like it with chicken and pasta. Mmm…Yummy!
Climbing The Ladder

We get asked this question all the time, and the answer we give most often might surprise you. In most cases, we suggest not reinvesting dividends. Here’s why: First, if you need income from your investments, it makes sense to generate some of that income from your dividends. After all, you’re going to pay tax on them whether you reinvest them or not. Unless, of course, the dividends are from an investment inside an IRA or 401(k).
