Beyond our Earthly Bodies

Beyond our Earthly Bodies

The question of the afterlife (life after death) is a topic that has been considered by mankind for thousands, possibly millions of years. What happens to humans after we die? As a child I don’t think I placed a great deal of thought into the topic; most children likely don’t. It wasn’t until a high school friend of mine suddenly passed away that I actually began considering the question. Alvin was killed in a car accident one cold winter weekend. He lost control of his car and crossed into oncoming traffic. In a moment he was gone.

More often than not, when I ask people what they consider to be their single best investment, without hesitation their answer is “my house”. How about you? Is that how you would’ve answered the question, too? Well, what I’m about to share with you just might surprise you and challenge your thinking.

Pumpkin Pie Dessert Bars

Pumpkin Pie Dessert Bars

October means Thanksgiving in Canada (November for our friends and family in the U.S.), and this year and our family will be gathering around the table to celebrate a year of many blessings. One of my favourite Thanksgiving recipes is for Pumpkin Pie Dessert Bars. A friend shared made these many years ago for a Thanksgiving staff luncheon. They were so delicious we were all asking for the recipe.

“Time” For A More Successful Life!

People often ask me “how do you do it all Tom!?” How do you oversee a large company? How do you find time to write books? How do you manage to have a successful online community? How do you fit in speaking and consulting engagements? And how in the world do you find it in your schedule to spend time with family and friends? Helping Our Children Live With Purpose And Passion

Mastering Time Management

Mastering Time Management

Time is one of the most precious non-renewable resources we possess. What Annoys You The Most?

What Annoys You The Most?

One piece of paper, signed by a doctor, sent to the medical supply company.

Homeless – Living In A Van

Homeless – Living In A Van

Homeless living in a van: that’s what I used to tell people when they would ask about our boys Justin and Adam. In case you aren’t aware, they are traveling the entire U.S. this year, with a goal of visiting every single state and for the most part they’re living in a van.

To their credit, they…
