Best Church Sign

Probably the best Church sign I’ve ever read was a sign outside a Baptist Church the week after Christmas.  I was in my car and stopped at a red light.  Robotically my eyes were wandering, randomly taking in the sights, when I notice the billboard outside the Church and had to chuckle.

The Eagle | A Story Of Transformation

Kathy (my wife) and I are fortunate enough to live in an amazing part of the world.  The province of British Columbia, in particular the West Coast region of the Province is an area where land meets ocean, rivers run deep and mountains reach high into the sky.  On any particular day a person can be sailing, scuba diving, skiing, sightseeing, golfing, or hiking.  The natural varietal beauty of the area is amazing in itself – but the climate and region also provide for an amazing and abundant variety of wildlife habitat as well to appreciate and enjoy.

Don’t Buy Things, Buy Experiences!

Recently my wife and I realized we had both been handed down silver tea service settings by our mothers, and we really didn’t know what to do with them. We certainly had no use for them, nor do we expect either of our boys will want them. Along about the same time a client called. They had gotten one of those postcards in the mail – you’ve probably gotten one too – offering what appeared to be a steal of a deal on some land in North Carolina. They wanted to know if we thought it would be a good idea for them to buy this property to hand down to the kids.
